ELB : Steamed chicken mushroom rice

For 2 pax

Ingredients:
Chicken strips - 1.5 fridge box
3 dried mushrooms - soaked and cut into strips
2 big leave of cabbage
2 cups white rice 

Marinate:
2 tbsp oyster sauce
Pepper
2 tsp sesame oil
3-4 slices ginger 

Directions:
1. Marinate chicken in fridge for 30mins

2. Wash rice in biggest pot

3. Add 2 cups water 

4. Add mushrooms, cabbage and chicken and stir lightly

5. Cook in ELB for 35-40mins
Note: add hot water for cooking instead of room temp water 

6. Mix well and serve

It tastes like my dad's cabbage and long bean rice but I think the key is ginger. The rice is infused subtly with ginger and chicken taste. For more kick, can add chinese sausage, liver sausage and salted fish and it'll be like chinese Claypot rice!
